Education Offer

The Adopt Thames Valley Adoption Team has a vast post-adoption education offer which provides a combination of training and therapeutic interventions. You can find details of our current offer in our brochure here. For more information or to register interest in a particular course, please contact ATVevents@oxfordshire.gov.uk.

Social Events

The Adoption Support Team also runs social events. You don’t have to be accessing other support from us to come to these events, all families with an adopted child are welcome to attend. The social events are publicised through the mailing list. If you would like to join the mailing list, please email ATV.PermanenceSupport@oxfordshire.gov.uk with the subject line Join Mailing List and ask to be added.

Support Groups

A variety of support groups happen monthly, and there are online and face to face options. You can find details in our brochure here.

Children’s Groups

These happen monthly across the region in Swindon, Berkshire and Oxfordshire. These are advertised via the mailing list. Please discuss a referral with Helpdesk (email ATV.PermanenceSupport@oxfordshire.gov.uk) or with your Social Worker if you have one.
