Welcome to the Anchor Team, Adopt Thames’ Valley’s multi-disciplinary team providing therapeutic support and working together in valuing and strengthening adoptive families in Berkshire and Swindon, and special guardianship families in the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead.
Who are we?
We are a team made up of Clinical Psychologists, Senior Practitioners, an Educational Psychologist and an Occupational Therapist, supported by a Business Support Officer and a Service Manager. Click here to see more about us.
What do we do?
We work together with families to support you and your child to make positive changes, build healthy relationships, and for your child to reach their potential and thrive.
We specialise in understanding the experiences of adoptive and special guardianship families but recognise that you are the expert on your family. We centre on childhood trauma, attachment and therapeutic parenting.
We are also able to offer consultations and training to professionals.
