If you would like to find out more about adopting with Adopt Thames Valley then our Enquiry Team would love to hear from you. We are here to answer any questions that you may have and informal calls with one of our social workers are also available. If you are an Adopter or Special Guardian in the Adopt Thames Valley area and would like to find out more about the support currently available to you, please contact the Permanence Support Front Door Team. Front Door can provide information about our services as well as connecting you to the Helpdesk, Social Worker or ATV service that you need.

We are not a crisis service and are not able to offer an immediate response. If you have concerns about the safety of a child or adult, please contact the police and/or the local safeguarding team in your area.
Adults Affected by Adoption
If you were adopted, are aged over 18 years, and would like birth records counselling, please contact the Permanence Support Front Door who will connect you with our specialist Social Worker.

This includes but is not limited to: Any queries about adopter assessments, Adoption Panel enquiries, Local Authority checks, family finder referrals, adopter and children profiles.
