Adoptive and Special Guardianship Families

Have you already adopted a child and live in Berkshire or Swindon? Or do you have a Special Guardianship order and live in Wokingham or the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead? If so, the Anchor Team may be able to offer you support, subject to an assessment.

If you are an Adopter or a Special Guardian and would like to refer your child/ren to the Anchor Team, please contact the Permanence Support Front Door Team in the first instance. They will be able to refer you to Helpdesk to start the process.

Adults Affected by Adoption

Adults Affected by Adoption refers to adopted adults, birth relatives of adopted adults, and descendants of adopted adults. Each group has varying rights to services, some of which Adopt Thames Valley provide directly and some are provided by other agencies.
