Who is Archie?

Archie is a lively two-and-a-half-year-old little boy who finds happiness in exploring his surroundings. He finds joy in a variety of activities - racing toy cars, constructing impressive towers and having fun splashing about in water are some of his absolute favourites.

He has a special fondness for messy play, anything involving sand, paint, and mud brings out the biggest smiles. Archie is captivated by sensory toys that make different sounds, chasing after bubbles, and spending time outdoors.

Among his favourite activities are swinging in the garden, enjoying soft play and experimenting with shaving foam. He loves doing all the actions to "Wind the Bobbin Up" while it is being sung to him! Archie is content playing on his own as well as with other children.

When it comes to food, his favourites include baked beans, ham sandwiches, hula hoops, jacket potatoes, pasta, and of course, cake!

Having lived with the same foster carer since he was a baby, Archie shares a warm relationship with them. He flourishes in the company of other children and loves animals too. As well as enjoying cuddles on the sofa with his foster carer as they read stories and sing his favourite songs.

Could you be Archie’s forever family?

Archie is a wonderful little boy searching for a loving family who can truly appreciate him for who he is, looking beyond his additional needs. While his health and developmental needs mean he reaches milestones slower than his peers, he is making great progress.

Archie needs a family that can help him attend essential appointments, such as speech, language, and physiotherapy. But most of all, he needs love, support and time.

We welcome enquiries from both single adopters and couples.

Experience caring for children, whether in your professional or personal life would be a bonus, as would having a strong support network of family and friends to lean on.

If you believe Archie could become part of your family, please call 0800 731 0171 for an initial, no-obligation conversation. Whether you are already an approved adopter or are considering the journey for the first time, we would love to hear from you.
